Qualifications
Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
- A current Georgia RN license to practice nursing and render services in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Registered Professional Nurse Practice Act, O.C.G.A. 43-26-1 et seq
- Two (2) years of experience in home care, personal support services, home health, geriatrics, long-term care or a related field
RN supervisor Qualifications:
- A current Georgia RN license to practice nursing and render services in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Registered Professional Nurse Practice Act, O.C.G.A. 43-26-1 et seq
- Two (2) years of experience in home care, personal support services, home health, geriatrics, long-term care or a related field
- One (1) year of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred
- Knowledge of current methods of home management and the provision of personal care
- Ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others, to evaluate situations and make decisions, and to communicate and deal effectively with others
- Working knowledge of Policies and Procedures for Private Home Care Providers preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of CCSP Policies and Procedures preferred but not required
Licensed Practical Nurse
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:
- A current GA license to practice nursing and render services as a LPN in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Practical Nurses Practice Act, O.C.G.A. 43-26-30 et seq
- Two (2) years of experience in home care, personal support services, home health, public health, geriatrics, long-term care or a related field
